What You’ll Do

As a Consultant Solicitor with Ricci & Partners, you’ll:

  • Advise clients on a broad range of employment law matters, from drafting contracts and policies to resolving complex disputes.
  • Manage client cases independently, providing expert guidance from start to finish.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering clear, effective, and professional advice.
  • Stay informed of the latest developments in employment legislation to offer up-to-date, compliant solutions.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking motivated legal professionals who possess:

  • A qualification as a solicitor with a minimum of 3 years
  • PQE in employment law.
  • Exceptional drafting and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage cases autonomously and handle diverse commercial queries with confidence.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with professionalism, reliability, and approachability.

One of the biggest barriers to becoming a consultant lawyer and working on a freelance basis is the requirement for professional indemnity insurance, which can be difficult and costly to arrange. We look after all of this for you, saving you from both the expense and the admin. We offer all of our members a high level of specialist cover from a leading provider, giving you total peace of mind.

All of our members benefit from free of charge access to legal precedents, allowing them to have unlimited access to this indispensable legal reference library, constantly updated with the very latest in case law covering every area of practice.

CPD Compliance

Demonstrating continuing competence is a key requirement under the SRA code of conduct. This places solicitors under an obligation to reflect on their practice and undertake regular learning and development to ensure that their skills and knowledge remain up to date. Solicitors also need to make an annual declaration to the SRA that they have done this. We recognise that this can be harder for consultant lawyers who are working independently and don’t have access to in-house resources and support. To ensure that you are able to remain fully compliant, we offer all members access to CPD compliance package covering all areas of law.

Online Case Management System

Our aim is to allow our lawyers to focus on that they do best – practice law. Cashier Support

When it comes to processing payments, everything is taken care of with our cashier facility including support in chasing payments.

One of the biggest difficulties working as a consultant, you have no team around you to support you in your every day work. This changes with us.

20 days of holiday a year cover

As a self employed consultant you will know that one of the biggest difficulties is to arrange cover if you wish to take some time off from work. 

We provide up to 20 days of holiday cover per year which means you can enjoy your time away with your family knowing that your inbox will be monitored and matters will be dealt with whilst you are away.

Compliance Support

We will provide you with expert guidance on anti-money laundering provisions, conflicts of interest, client due diligence, data protection, SRA, legal practice and professional obligations.

Office 365

As a lawyer, it is essential to be able to produce high quality, professional documents with ease. Office 365 allows you to create, access and manage and collaborate on a range of documents in a cloud based environment – so that you can work effectively and professionally wherever you are.

IT Support

We recognise that being an expert in law does not necessarily mean that you are also an expert in IT. To help you remain as productive as possible, we provide full IT support so that if things don’t work as expected help is at hand.

Service Support

We will carry out due diligence and verification process to ensure that you comply with anti money laundering regulations. We will also support you with onboarding and administrative aspects of client care including handling concerns in an unlikely event something goes wrong.

With credit control included within our package, you don’t need to worry about time consuming administrative jobs such as chasing accounts and vetting clients.
